Last month, we proudly announced that Kreischer Miller has been selected as a Top Workplace for 2021 by The Philadelphia Inquirer. This marks the fourth time we’ve been named a Top Workplace by the publication, and we’d like to extend a big thank you to all of our team members who make Kreischer Miller a great place to work!
Our managing director Chris Meshginpoosh said, “We are very proud to have been selected as a Top Workplace for the fourth time, especially since the honor is based entirely on feedback from our team members. Given all of the challenges of the past year, it is especially gratifying to learn that our team members are actively engaged and feel a strong sense of belonging. We have always invested a great deal in creating an environment where our team members feel they have the tools, support, and flexibility they need to thrive and grow, personally and professionally. That, in turn, encourages them to provide excellent client service and make meaningful contributions to their clients and the firm.”
The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. One of our team members noted in the survey, “Overall, Kreischer Miller is a company that promotes and supports learning while being surrounded by people who care about your professional and personal well-being.” Another noted, “I support the values and culture at Kreischer Miller and I feel they align with my personal values, therefore, they are a firm I can stand behind. I love the transparency and honesty from upper management. I trust that Kreischer Miller is doing what is best for us as employees.”
When asked what contributes most to them wanting to stay with Kreischer Miller, one team member echoed the sentiments of many other commenters by saying, “I have been with the firm for more than 30 years and the reasons I have stayed so long remain clear to me. The firm has always invested in my development and I have always had opportunities to take on challenging new work that helped me develop. I have never been in a position to sacrifice my family due to my career; at Kreischer Miller, your career fits into your life and not vice versa. We have a unique group of team members who genuinely care about and support each other.”
A number of team members also cited the firm’s handling of the pandemic and the transition to remote work. As one put it, “Throughout the pandemic, Kreischer Miller employees have done an excellent job of checking in with each other and making sure everyone feels comfortable in this new remote environment. The leadership at Kreischer Miller is great, and we have had several firm meetings in which employees are given updates and able to ask any questions they may have. Although we have been working remotely, I feel very much connected and supported by my team members.”
Kreischer Miller continuously strives to promote a collaborative environment in which team members feel empowered and have the opportunity to do their best work. Despite the challenges 2021 has posed, we have made diligent efforts to stay connected and stay positive. Though virtual meetings and gatherings have allowed us to do so successfully, we’re excited to reconnect in person again soon! Again, thank you to all of our talented and dedicated team members – you’re what makes Kreischer Miller a Top Workplace!
