Samarin was named a 2017 Young Leader Award recipient by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
The PICPA’s Young Leader Awards recognize members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through active PICPA or community volunteer activities. They are considered to be representative of the future of the accounting profession and the PICPA.
Katrina Samarin is a manager in Kreischer Miller’s Tax Strategies practice, where she provides a variety of tax services including tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research for corporations, multi-state companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals. She is actively involved with the firm’s Manufacturing Industry Group as well as the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Group. Katrina also serves on the PICPA Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s Women of the PICPA Committee.
