Sue received this year’s Community Service Award in recognition of her volunteer work in providing tax advice and guidance to the Rotary’s Horsham chapter for nearly 20 years.
Sue Stutzman, CPA is a Director in Kreischer Miller’s Tax Strategies group, where she provides a variety of tax strategies and services including tax planning, consulting, and compliance for corporations, partnerships, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning. Sue is active in the Horsham community, and in addition to her volunteer work with the Rotary Club of Horsham, she is a prior member of the Horsham Chamber of Commerce, previously serving as a Board member and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Founded in 1965, the Rotary Club of Horsham is a group of business, professional, and community leaders committed to making the local and global community a better place to live. Rotarians worldwide use the principles of The Four Way Test as guidance to provide a strong common purpose and direction. The Four Way Test – which involves asking the questions, “Is it the truth,” “Is it fair to all concerned,” “Will it build goodwill and better friendships,” and “Will it be beneficial to all concerned” – serves as the foundation for members’ relationships with each other and the actions they take. As such, the Rotary Club of Horsham puts these principles into practice by supporting and donating to a number of causes, placing a priority on people with access or functional needs, Horsham Township parks and recreation, academic and music scholarships, local food banks, and community sports programs.
